UTME Registration (for UTME candidates)

• E-PIN sale begins: January 19, 2026
• Registration at CBT centres: January 26 to February 28, 2026
• UTME Exam dates: April 16 to April 25, 2026
• Mock UTME (optional): March 28, 2026

Direct Entry (DE) Registration

• Forms & E-PIN vending: March 2 to April 25, 2026 (only at JAMB State & Zonal Offices)

Note: Only accredited JAMB CBT centres or official JAMB offices can handle your registration — do not pay unverified agents.

Who Can Register? Eligibility Requirements

To register for UTME 2026, you must:

1. Have a valid National Identification Number (NIN)
   You cannot register without it.
2. Be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026
   Candidates younger than this may require special evaluation and only get results released after review if approved.
3. Have your O’Level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) — awaiting results are allowed in many cases.
4. Use a valid phone number and email linked to your profile.

Step-by-Step Registration Overview

1. Get your JAMB Profile Code:
   1. Send your 11-digit NIN as SMS to 55019 or 66019.
   1. You’ll receive a 10-digit profile code by SMS.
2. Buy the e-PIN:
   1. Purchase from authorized banks, POS agents, or online platforms.
3. Visit an accredited JAMB CBT centre:
   1. Take your biometrics & passport photo.
   1. Provide personal data, subject selections, exam town, and pay the fee.
4. Print Exam Slip:
   1. Once JAMB releases the timetable, print your exam slip showing date, time, and centre.
