ANNOUNCEMENT
The Nigerian Army wishes to inform the general public that the online registration for the 91 Regular Recruits Intake Exercise for Trades/Non-Tradesmen and Women will commence from:

RECRUITMENT INTO THE NIGERIAN ARMY IS FREE
GUIDELINES
- The application is free for interested candidates.
- Applicants are to apply once. Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
- Interested candidates are advised to log on to:
https://recruitment.army.mil.ng - Note: Recruitment into the Nigerian Army is a national service, a competitive process, and not a guarantee of employment.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
- Apply online via the recruitment portal: https://recruitment.army.mil.ng
- Log on to the website and create an account.
- Complete the application form, submit online, print a copy and complete the Guarantor Form.
- Candidates should bring:
- Application printout
- Guarantor Form
- Ensure you bring duly signed copies of:
- Birth Certificate
- Educational Certificates
- National Identity Card
- Guarantor Form (Police Officer and Community Leader)
BASIC ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Applicant must be single and a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- Must possess National Identity Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN).
- Name and date of birth must match across all documents.
- Must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit.
- Must have no criminal conviction.
- Must possess at least 4 passes in WASSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB, including English (not more than two sittings).
- Tradesmen/women must also possess Trade Test / City & Guild Certificate.
- Must possess a valid Birth Certificate (NPC, hospital, or court affidavit).
- Age requirements:
- Non-tradesmen/women: 18 – 22 years
- Tradesmen/women: not more than 26 years (as at 30 June 2026)
- Minimum height:
- Male: 1.68m
- Female: 1.65m
- Must apply using State of Origin, not State of Residence.
- Must possess a valid Certificate of State of Origin.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
- All documents will be verified by issuing authorities.
- Fake documents will lead to prosecution.
PLEASE NOTE
- No pre-selection computer test.
- No special center for recruitment.
- Screening will be conducted at candidates’ State of Origin.
- Electronic devices are not allowed at screening venues.
- Tattoos (except small ones) are not allowed.
- Multiple piercings (for females) are not allowed.
- Candidates must present original credentials.
- Candidates must not belong to secret societies or fraternities.
- Candidates must not give money to anyone for assistance.
- Candidates must come with NIN and BVN slips.
- Shortlisted candidates will be published online.
- Screening dates: 9 – 23 June 2026.
