As part of the deliberate and sustained efforts of Government to reposition the health sector for optimal performance, enhance quality service delivery, and ensure that all health institutions across Delta State are adequately manned by competent, skilled and dedicated personnel, the Delta State Ministry of Health is pleased to announce the commencement of a recruitment exercise.
This initiative is aimed not only at filling existing vacancies but also addressing critical manpower gaps within the system, thereby strengthening healthcare delivery and improving overall efficiency in service provision to the good people of the State.

POSITIONS & REQUIREMENTS
1. CONSULTANTS
Candidates must possess MBBS or similar qualifications registrable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, Fellowship of either the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or West African Postgraduate Medical College or equivalent.
2. SENIOR MEDICAL OFFICER II / RESIDENT DOCTORS
MBBS qualification with evidence of passing primary of either colleges.
3. NURSING OFFICER
RN/RM certificate including current Nursing License.
4. MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTIST
BMLS certificate including current practicing license.
5. MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
OND certificate in Medical Laboratory Sciences.
6. PHARMACIST
B.Pharm or PharmD with current practicing license.
7. PHARMACOLOGIST
B.Sc Pharmacology or equivalent.
8. PHARMACY TECHNICIAN
Certificate from School of Health Technology and registration with Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology.
9. MEDICAL RECORDS OFFICERS
HND in Health Information Management.
10. MEDICAL RECORDS TECHNICIAN
Minimum of 3 years training in a School of Health Technology with registration from Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology.
11. DENTAL THERAPIST
Degree or Diploma in Dental Therapy or Oral Health Science.
12. DENTAL TECHNOLOGIST
Degree or Diploma in Dental Therapy or Oral Health Science.
13. DENTAL TECHNICIAN (NURSE)
RN plus certificate in Dental Therapy or Oral Health Science.
14. ANAESTHETIC TECHNICIAN
SSCE with training certificate in Anaesthesia or equivalent.
15. NUTRITIONIST / DIETICIAN
Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics with relevant certification.
16. PHYSIOTHERAPIST
First degree in Physiotherapy.
